The Town Hall

The four-column building decorated with triangular gable portico delights with its amazing architecture.

The Town Hall – that is the name given to a building constructed according to the plan drawn up on 15 of January 1888, with the purpose of the guardhouse. It served to that function until the First World War. It is a neoclassical building. Front wall is adorned with four-column portico with a triangular gable. After 1920, the city restructured it to the municipal offices and municipal money and henceforth called the town hall. Then the west annex was added for the arrest and apartment caretaker. Destroyed during World War II. Rebuilt in 1961-1963 and reconstructed. Since the year 1971, it served as the seat of the Civil Registry Office.
