Statue of St John Nepomucen



St John Nepomucen, the patron of flood victims, was expected to “keep a tight hold on the stream”. The statue of St John Nepomucen in Orla from 1758.

The statue of St John Nepomucen in Orla from 1758 is situated by the Orthodox Church dedicated to Ss. Cyryl and Metody from 1870. By tradition, St John Nepomucen is a martyr who was drowned in the Vltava River.
