In the Museum there are several thousands of showpieces presenting the life of prisoners of war: Polish officers kept in Offlag IIC Woldenberg, as well as the documents of the so called Polish Defend War in 1939.

During the 2. World War from the end of May 1940 till January 25th, 1945 in a place nowadays called Dobiegniew existed one of biggest prisoners' of war camp. The Nazis kept here officers, gunners, cadets, lower officers and privates of Polish Army's Defend War of 1939. Also some officers inprisoned during the struggle in France in 1940 and aproximately 100 officers of National Army (AK) after the break of Warsaw Uprising. Most of prisoners have always been the officers.

The exposition has 400 sq. m. and it is divided into sections for example: Polish Defend War in 1939, general information about the camp, life in a camp, reconstruction of prisoners' chamber, conspiration in a camp.
